Gilberto has worked as a Creative Writer and Media Planner for different advertising agencies, as a Marketing Manager and Director for nationwide fashion and IT retailers, he also has experience as Editorial Manager and Content Director for international publications and has worked as correspondent in Latin America, Africa, The Middle East and South East Asia covering developing nations’ business and investment climate.

He is currently working in the field of education and host a podcast: Dilo Fuerte. In which his discuss in Spanish several topics from politics, health, business and culture.

Gilberto's writer experience is broad with a strong background in advertising writing. He went to advertising school at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain and from there worked in several agencies in Europe, United States and Latin America.

Currenty Gilberto lives in Chicago where he works in the field of education, teaches Spanish and provides translation services of academic texts. He just enrolled in ASU and is pursuing a degree in Global Studies.
